Refund Policy
If an app isn’t right for you, ask within 14 days and we’ll refund you in full.

1. 14-day refunds
If you’re not happy with an app, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund the full amount you paid. No long explanation needed, though a sentence on what didn’t work helps us improve.
The 14 days start on the date on your receipt. The policy covers every NewMac app and every plan (1, 3 or 5 Macs). If you bought the wrong plan, we can refund it so you can buy the right one.
2. How to ask
- Reply to your purchase receipt, or email [email protected] from the address you used to buy.
- Tell us which app you want refunded. Your order number helps but isn’t required.
- We reply to confirm, normally within a few working days.
3. How the money comes back
Refunds are issued by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, to the payment method you used. You get back the amount you were charged, in the currency you paid. Banks and card issuers usually take 5–10 business days to show it; if your bank applied currency conversion, the amount in your account may differ slightly because of exchange rates. See also Dodo’s Buyer Terms.
4. What happens to your license
When a refund is issued, the license key is disabled. The next time the app checks its license (it does this about once a week when online), it stops working on every Mac where that key was activated and asks for a license key again. Files you created with the app (recordings, converted files, mail backups and so on) stay on your Mac and remain yours. You can delete the app by dragging it to the Trash.
5. After 14 days
We look at later requests case by case, for example if an update broke something for you and we can’t fix it. Get in touch and tell us what happened.
6. Chargebacks
Please email us before disputing a payment with your bank. A refund is faster and simpler for everyone. If a payment is reversed through a chargeback, the license key is disabled in the same way as a refund. See our Terms of Use.
7. Your legal rights
This policy adds to the rights you have under consumer law in the country where you live. It doesn’t take any of them away.
